Abbotts Wharf, E14
Over 200 homes developed in partnership with East Thames Group. The scheme features a holistic approach to estate management with all tenures being looked after by the same management company. The scheme features 50% affordable housing and substantial new commercial spaces with a high quality tenure blind design concept set around a new inlet marina from the Limehouse Cut. The marina features new moorings which are owned and managed by British Waterways. The development features a high quality, attractive and safe public realm and has won the 2006 Evening Standard Design Award and has been awarded the CABE silver standard award.
Cubix, E3
50 sale homes and 11 affordable homes including large family houses were developed in partnership with Poplar HARCA. The development was integrated with existing affordable housing developments and centred round an attractive new mini urban park which is now owned and maintained by Poplar HARCA.
Icona, E15
162 private sale homes and 87 affordable homes being developed in partnership with East Thames Group. The development will help to rejuvenate a run down quarter of Stratford and features substantial new commercial space and a gym. The scheme which features high quality design throughout is a landmark in the area and is one of the pioneer developments to be progressed on essentially residual land on the fringes of the 2012 Olympic Park area.
Merchants' Quarter, E3
The first of eight major estate renewal programmes being developed in partnership with EastendHomes. The comprehensive regeneration programme includes 161 new market sale homes, 24 affordable homes, a major refurbishment and environmental enhancement programme, new community buildings and retail space.
Metro East
53 new sale homes and 25 new affordable homes are being developed in partnership with Poplar HARCA and London Borough of Tower Hamlets. We are working with Leaside Regeneration Company, the local community and the Council to regenerate the adjacent Furze Green park. Telford Homes is providing long term support to community involvement in helping the Council to make the park a safe and popular place for local people.
OneStratford, E15
The development features 301 new homes including 122 for One Housing Trust and six new commercial units. The development is adjacent to the new Olympic Park area and is at the forefront of the regeneration of 2012 Olympic park fringe.
Queen Mary's Gate, E3
498 homes including 110 homes for CircleAnglia. The development features a new nursery, concierge and a new landscaped park. At the entrance is Elmhurst, a 18th Century listed building, independently refurbished to provide office facilities and a restaurant.
Decorum, Leyton E10
Developed in partnership with East Thames Group, Decorum is a low rise development in Leyton set within a predominantly residential area close to the 2012 Olympic Park. The scheme has transformed an old industrial site and provides mixed tenure housing that features cutting edge 'green' construction methods and materials. The development provides 44 new homes with over 40% delivered as affordable homes. The affordable provision features a number of large family houses.
Stadia, Leyton E10
Stadia is a key part of the regeneration of Leyton Orient football ground and the surrounding area. The scheme is located adjacent to the north and south stands and is within easy reach of the 2012 Olympic Park. Developed with East Thames Group, one of Telford Homes Plc's core Housing Association partners, Stadia comprises 62 new homes of which 40% are provided as affordable homes. The scheme features a 'tenure blind' design concept and the affordable provision features wheelchair friendly homes.
